FC Samartex to announce new Head Coach after parting ways with Nurudeen Amadu

Following a mutual agreement to part ways with head coach Narudeen Amadu just 13 games into the new season, FC Samartex is set to appoint a new head coach in the coming days.

The club’s Business Development Manager, Paul Anyaba, confirmed this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, expressing the club’s regret over the unexpected departure while shedding light on the club’s unique technical structure.

“We are saddened by the mutual parting with Coach Amadu, but we have a distinct system when it comes to our technical team,” Anyaba stated. “At Samartex, we hire coaches based on merit and what they bring to the table, the board in their wisdom doesn’t rely on the head coach to bring back room staff so we have a competent back room staff”

Paul Anyaba also mentioned that the board is diligently headhunting a suitable candidate, with background checks currently being conducted.

“This situation didn’t give us much time to plan for a replacement, but we couldn’t force the coach to stay when he expressed his desire to move on. The president and board are actively working on finding the right candidate, and I am confident we will have a strong replacement soon.”
