Joe Tagoe on how he nearly lost his life at a club in Egypt

Joseph Tagoe was a professional footballer who played for the likes of Hearts of Oak and Medeama. Due to his performance he secured a move to Egypt.

The 37year old talking about his time in Egypt, he revealed that he nearly lost his life during his stay in the country.

“I went to Egypt and changed my age to 21. The coach thought I was indeed 21 due to my height, so whenever we close from training, he will tell me to join the under -20 side to train.

The way the boys were running I realized I couldn’t cheat nature and if I don’t take care I will exchange my life with money so I had to come home.” He told Dan Kwaku Yeboah TV.
